St Georges, Saint Peter Port

I had a ground floor sea-facing room which was great value for money. The rooms were serviced every day, making it convenient. It was a 10-minute walk from the town or a quick bus ride from outside, ideal for those wanting to be slightly away from the main hustle of the town center at a fraction of the cost. The room was clean and comfortable, but being on the ground floor front, we did hear people coming and going from the hall.

The hotel room I stayed in was at the front of the hotel on the first floor. It didn't have a table or much space to comfortably eat, but it was a good size with a large double bed and clean bedding. Despite facing the main road, it was surprisingly quiet. The service was a mix of unhelpful staff and a very friendly chap who went out of his way to assist, even giving me rides to work. The hotel's location was convenient for work, near the harbor and town center, but a bit of a walk along a noisy road to reach the city center. Dining was delightful, with a Continental-style breakfast delivered to my door daily. The facilities were satisfactory, with some ups and downs.
